My child has just left school and has registered with Life Skills.?

Life Skills have found her an apprenticeship and she will be attending college 1 day a week. She will receive a weekly allowance of �75.00 pw from Life Skills. Can I still claim Child Tax Credits for her. Very confused as I have phoned the child Tax Credits office twice and have been told yes by one person and no by another. Can anyone help please.
