Virginia State Vehicle Inspection?

I just moved to Virginia, and i got my car registered here, but no one told me I was required to get the State inspection sticker. My problem is that on my driver's side front door, the module that controls the window does not work (just the electronic part not the actual window). I am working on getting it fixed, but my question is, since the window will not roll down will that cause me to fail the inspection. Also, were I to fail, what then? If I did not get the inspection done (until i got the door fixed) what would happen were I to get pulled over, ticketed, fined?

I had a strange experience, can anyone help me out?

This afternoon I was laying on my bed, eyes closed, yet not asleep. Then, well, I'm not sure how to describe it.. I became encapsulated into a mist and I saw a woman with short blonde hair who looked very sophisticated. She eminated evil. She was muttering gibberish, then she said.. ''I killed them, I killed 'em.. I killed my children''. Then all of the sudden, these flashes of children's images appeared. They were deathly pale and had black eyes, with cuts all over them. They stared and looked so lifeless. I tried to 'get out' of this state, but I found myself in some sort of paralysis, I couldn't open my eyes or move any of my limbs. I began to panic and after aprox ten minutes I was able to wrench my eyelids open. I was truly horrified by this, I cried. The looks on the children's faces were truly haunting and the woman's evilness left a residue which I could still feel. I'm really confused, and I'm certain it was not a dream, does anyone have any ideas?

What does a dream of falling into a giant black hole the the ground mean?

I had a dream when I was a lot younger that I can't get out of my head. It was stormy outside in my dream. No rain or anything, but dark and gloomy. There was a lot of wind. It was kind of barren. A few trees in the distance. Like, I was in a giant clearing. And the ground was grass, then it faded into black and white kitchen tiles for about a foot, and then there's a huge, huge black hole in the middle of the ground. And it's swirling like a tornado. I'm in first person point of view, looking at it, and I get closer. When I'm right up to it, the wind is whipping around, and I turn so my back is facing it and fall backwards into the giant hole. Weird hallucinations I think?

So recently I've been experiencing some bizzare things. I've been having pretty frequent limb/ muscle twitches that have started to die down in frequency but are still there. I've started to see little sparks of light and dark circles in my prehiphrial vision. Not only that, I've been hearing little weird noises - but I can't tell if they are real noises that I am distorting because I think they could be hallucinations, or just mild hallucinations. The distorting part makes sense seeing as Im a hypochondriac and Im currently fixating on psychosis symptoms. For example- I heard a long, quiet scream, that faded off, and I realized it could have been either my mind hallucinating, my mind distorting a real sound, or just a very bizarre ambient sound. Also, I've been playing piano for 7 years or so and I just recently began composing what my body truly wants. This may sound stupid and all but I just sit down and it just comes to me, yet this music is sad, deep striking music (in the lower octive if you play piano), that's fast paced and similar to the last 50 seconds of "fantasie impromptu" anywho, I also just began to notice when I play piano, using the tv for light when it's dark outside, I begin to see the paper (in my perhiprial vision) start to wave, or ripple, but this is very minor, and it only ripples or waves slightly. Any suggestions? Oh yea, I think it's fair to note I've been smoking pot every since summer began. Also, also (?) its again fair to note that my muscle twitches have gone down when I stopped smoking this crappy weed. Also(x3), don't try and give a real answer if you have no idea what your talking about, and dont make this into a "pots bad" speech. I'm 16 and make good grades in AP clases for gods sake.

Ive quit smoking after 15+ yrs and began swimming on a daily basis. I swim after work most days at least 5 times a week. I can swim 500 metres freestyle and thats it. I started off doing 250 metres freestyle and 250 breast stroke but the breast stroke is too easy and I managed to replace it with just freestyle. Ive been doing this for about 10 weeks now and I don't seem to be improving. Im still totally a wreck when Im done and I still need to stop for breath every 50 metres or risk sinking and drowning. I would have thought Id be able to swim further and not have to stop as often after 10 weeks but Ive really only improved modestly since I started. All the while people twice my age are swimming in the next lane who never stop for breath and continue swimming after Ive left the pool. Why is it taking so long for me to get fit? Im 33 male and not overweight. I swim till my lungs cant take anymore and my body and limbs hurt. I swim intensely and often. My aim is to reach a standard of being able to swim 2km freestyle without stopping. When I can do this Ill know Im fit but I dont know if I ever will. Please help.

Tree fell on our car. I have a few questions regarding insurance?

We rent a house and the dead tree in the front yard fell over on my husband's car this morning. Our landlord said we had to call our car insurance company first, and if the adjuster (sp?) deemed the tree dead, then they could battle it out with his insurance, either way, we shouldn't have to pay for anything. Here is my question. Instead of hiring and waiting for a tree service to come out, our neighbor came over with a saw and took care of cutting down the limbs, pulling the trunk off of the car and breaking it all down so we could have it hauled off. Should our car insurance, or my landlords home insurance pay my neighbor? They would pay an actual tree/landscaping service to cut it up and haul it off, so would there be a difference? He worked hard and I would like to have him reimbursed for his trouble. Also, my husband missed work today due to all of this mess, will he be reimbursed by the insurance company? Just questions because we have never dealt with this before. Mature answers would be appreciated, thank you!

Why are Chainsaws Used Against Zombies?

I always believed that it was because the chainsaw makes it easy to take off the zombie's head which kills it. If one has a sword or an ax, one has to have a mighty powerful sword arm to take off the zombie's head. If one has a gun, one has to score a headshot to kill the thing. Also, a chainsaw could be used to take off multiple zombie heads at once. That's just my opinion. I love zombie movies!

(Repost) Has anyone ever woke up in the night and see a dark figure in your room yet you cant move or scream?

Once i was falling into deep sleep and suddenly my eyes opened and i could see dark figures moving around in my room. Also while this was going on i unable to get up or scream for help, only the smallest wisp of air could leave my throat. And once I had full control of my limbs and was able to search the room for any sign of intrusion i had found nothing. I was told sleep Paralysis was the cause, yet i also heard another theory of unearthly beings visiting us in our sleep and inspecting us. About primary lymphedema & disability?

I have lymphedema in both feet/legs now for 26 years. I live in the UK. My experiences with this condition is that it is not curable but treatable to control the condition. In the last 3 yrs I received my first set of treatments due to my own research for help. For those who unaware of what it is, it is swelling in the limbs caused insufficient lymph vessels to carry away lymph fluid. What I wanted to know is if this is regarded as a disability? Why GPs in the UK ignore primary lymphedema patients and if anyone knows of other advice I can get. I know there are many outside the UK. All recommendations will be taking into consideration. BTW my own GP is unhelpful. I want more direction.

Well sadly in this kind of situation all you can really do is pray there alright!! :'( I would go and search around your neighborhood to see if he is around there somewhere, most dogs don't tend to stray that far from there homes. Also if you normally walk your dog around a constant route, I would check that as well, my fox terrier got out once, and he came back an hour later from the same route I usually take to walk him!! :) If he got picked up by animal control they'll call you and tell you they have your dog, if he is still not home and you haven't gotten any information about him after three days I would put uposters around your neighborhood. Should I be concerned about my marfan syndrome?

Yes, you do need to be concerned about your Marfan Syndrome. BUT, not to the point where it is exacerbating your panic attacks. You need to make regular appointments with your specialist physician to have echocardiograms to monitor your heart and check for aneurysms. Aneurysms are when a blood vessel bulges out at some point instead of being more linear like a straw. (Like a long thin balloon you blow up a little bit, where a bulge comes out, but most of it is long and thin). This is a high risk/probablilty with your syndrome. The problem comes in when the 'bulge' is so big, the vessel becomes so weak it can tear, and you could bleed from that area very quickly. But if you routinely have this checked, they can monitor for this condition and you could theoretically have surgery to fix this when it becomes too serious to wait any longer. As for your chest, it is a common trait w/ Marfan and I wouldn't get too excited that your chest is a bit different than other people w/ this syndrome. As for your panic attacks, these seem to really be effecting your quality of life, and a psychiatrist can assist you with this. Good luck.

Drum Kit Help For A Beginner?

I just got a drum kit for my birthday a week ago, and it's fun as hell. My only problem is that I can't seem to be able to play a different beat on the bass drum then on anything else. All my foot is good for at this point is keeping time. I've played a single snare for concert/marching season since 5th grade so I have experience drumming. Blackish green jelly stuff on pear tree and ground?

Did I kill my fittonia (nerve) plant?

I was sick the last couple and I forgot to mist my plant and check its soil. The soil got really dry. The leaves were a little yellow, a few were shriveled, and one of the limbs of the plant was completely slouched over but still green. When I noticed, I watered and misted it with lukewarm water, and put a humidifier beside it for the night. I used a stake and some twisty ties to prop up the drooping limb. Wrist pain since a year and a half ago ?

I was out clearing some brush about a year and a half ago and i pulled on a large tree limb and my wrist made a loud pop and it burned and stung for about 3 hours after that. the pain went away and there was no swelling but it still feels sore and pops from time to time, from opening a door to picking up a plate. in a way it feels like it's popping out of joint and my pinky finger is very sore too. so my question is shouldn't it be better now if it was sprung ? or do i have a fracture that never healed ?

Reoccurring, unexplained joint pain?

I am 24 years old and female. Ever since I was a child I have had horrible joint pain. The pain has gotten so bad that I am unable to do normal activities, including but not limited to walking, writing, and holding objects. It is not a constant pain and sometimes I can go weeks or even up to two months without having any bothersome pain. It is fair for me to mention that I am considerably over weight now, which I'm sure is the reason the pain is so much worse now, but I wasn't when I was younger. The pain is usually just in the joints in my limbs. My toes, ankles, knees, hips, fingers, and wrists have all been effected. Pain isn't my only symptom, either. When my joints are bothering me, they also don't seem to work as well. I have had several instances when I would try to stand up from a chair and my hips would actually lock in place and I fell. This has happened with my knees and my fingers, as well. When I was a teenager I forced my mother to take me to the doctors, but they told me I was too young to have any joint problems. Is it possible for children to develop joint problems? Has anyone else experienced this or had a child that has experienced this?

Very delicate question and not meant to insult any Multiple Sclerosis sufferer. Although I believe they should not be discriminated against, surely for public safety there must be certain types of jobs that should be off bounds. This woman admitted somedays she could not move her legs and (having worked with MS sufferers) I know their limbs can go into uncontrolled spasms. My Cell Won't Send a Text Message to Just One Person in Contact List?

I have Verizon Wireless and my phone is the Palm Pre 2. I can send and receive text messages usually, but for some reason this one certain number it won't send to. And I know this person receives text messages from other peoples phones too. I've tried deleting the number from contacts and re-entering it in, tried just typing the number rather than choose the person through my contact list, I've tried everything it seems. If I go to the contact in the contact list and try to click on the little "SMS" square for that number, it won't let me. What plant is this (no pics)?

I picked up this little houseplant today at the supermarket, there was no label on it so i don't know what it is. The "leaves" are all squarish type and they all seem to be puffed up or filled with water. They are all bunched up together, there are no limbs or branches sticking out or anything.
